Todd has a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Science(s) and High School Biology Education from Virginia Tech and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. He and his wife Tori, were called to Eagle Ranch, in Georgia, as houseparents in 2003. After 3 ½ years, God’s call moved Todd into teaching at the on campus school for the children in 2006. Now Todd, along with Tori and their two boys Samuel and Xavier, have followed God’s lead and moved to West Virginia to join this ministry.
“My calling to teach the Lord’s children about whom He is and the love he has for us motivates me to give my absolute best at all times.”
While teaching 6th through 9th grade sciences, health, bible, and carpentry for the past 8 years at Eagle Ranch, Todd has been part of a PLC and actively involved in co-leading the SACS accreditation process for Eagle Ranch School. “Growing meaningful relationships; setting high personal standards, embracing and understanding God’s love He has for us, is my mission as well as my desire for each student to experience.” Through creative technology, pedagogy, and lesson plans students can be met at their current levels of learning and are given the ability to achieve goals beyond their beliefs at Chestnut Mountain Ranch School.
